Haseenah By Hamisu Breaker

Hamisu Breaker’s “Haseenah” is one of the earliest releases in the catalog of the Kano-born Hausa singer. The only dated listing I could verify is on YouTube, where an official audio upload shows a release date of December 20, 2019, through Menta Music. For anyone searching for the Hamisu Breaker “Haseenah” song, that places it just before the breakthrough that made him a household name.

Born Hamisu Sa’id Yusuf in Dorayi, Kano State, Hamisu Breaker earned his stage name as a breakdancer before turning fully to music. He released songs independently for years and broke through nationally in 2020 with “Jaruma.” He sings mainly in Hausa, and his sound has been described as a mix of Afro-pop, Amapiano rhythms, and light traditional touches, all built around love, longing, and everyday life in the North. “Haseenah” comes from the period when that style was still taking shape.

On the song itself, I could not confirm details about its tempo, instrumentation, production, or theme, so I will not describe them. What can be said is that it is an official Hamisu Breaker release and a piece of his early work, which makes it a useful listen for fans who want to trace how his voice and songwriting developed before “Jaruma.”

I found no verified viral moment behind current attention, so the more honest explanation is catalog discovery. As Hamisu Breaker’s audience has grown across Nigeria and the Hausa diaspora, listeners naturally go back to his earlier singles, and tracks like “Haseenah” pick up new plays that way. The song is available to stream through his official YouTube presence.

Early releases reveal an artist’s instincts before the polish and the fame arrive, and “Haseenah” is worth hearing for that reason. Hamisu Breaker’s sincere Hausa delivery was already part of his identity, and the song gives fans a window into where one of Northern Nigeria’s most recognizable voices began.

“Haseenah” is an exciting track with captivating energy, impressive delivery, and a memorable sound. Make sure you listen to this impressive song and add it to your playlist today.
