Bankwana By Hamisu Breaker

Hamisu Breaker’s “Bankwana” is a Hausa farewell song that stands out in his catalog for its length and its mood. It first appeared in January 2022, runs over five minutes, and returned in February 2025 on his Luxury Playlist project. The title means “goodbye,” and for anyone searching for the Hamisu Breaker “Bankwana” song, this is a heavier, more emotional turn from the gentle love songs he is often known for.

Born Hamisu Sa’id Yusuf in Dorayi, Kano State, Hamisu Breaker began as a breakdancer before moving into music. His 2020 release “Jaruma” pushed him into the national spotlight, and he has since built a devoted following by singing in Hausa about love, longing, and life in Northern Nigeria. “Bankwana” shows that his storytelling covers heartbreak as well as romance.

The song deals with the end of a relationship. Rather than a simple sad goodbye, it blends lingering affection with frustration, as the singer reflects on constant disagreements and decides he cannot go back. Hamisu Breaker is credited as songwriter, and streaming platforms list the track under Afrobeat, with Amjad Records named on the 2022 release. At 5 minutes and 17 seconds, it gives the story room to unfold, and the Hausa delivery keeps the emotion direct and personal.

I could not verify a specific viral moment behind current attention, so the clearest explanation is the song’s relatable theme and its 2025 return on Luxury Playlist. Breakup songs travel well because listeners attach them to their own experiences, and Audiomack lists more than a million plays for its version. Fans can stream the track on official platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, and Audiomack.

“Bankwana” proves Hamisu Breaker is more than a romantic crooner. His vocals carry real feeling, the writing balances hurt and resolve, and the extended length lets the story breathe instead of rushing to a hook. It is a bold, emotional record that deserves a spot beside his best-known love songs.

“Bankwana” is an exciting track with captivating energy, impressive delivery, and a memorable sound. Make sure you listen to this impressive song and add it to your playlist today.
