Umar M Shareef’s “Na Gamsu” is a song Hausa music fans keep returning to. It appears on his album Soyayya Ta, and it has built a loyal following among listeners who like their love songs calm and unhurried.

Born in Kaduna in 1989, Umar M Shareef is a Hausa singer and producer in Kannywood, and he is also an actor. His songs lean toward romance and storytelling, and his voice is always the center of the performance. That steady identity is why even a quieter album track can find its own audience.

“Na Gamsu” is the seventh of eight songs on Soyayya Ta, released on December 19, 2025. It runs 3 minutes and 23 seconds, and platforms list it as pop. Shareef is credited as both performer and songwriter, and the release came through Shareef Studios Invest Nig Ltd.

Shazam lists the tempo at 96 beats per minute, a relaxed pace that gives his voice plenty of room. The title points to contentment, and that fits the unhurried feel. It is the kind of song that suits a slow evening, where the listener wants warmth rather than a rush of energy. Shareef has always been a narrator first, and a mellow tempo lets that storytelling come through clearly.

The numbers show real interest. “Na Gamsu” has passed 330,000 plays on Audiomack and appears among his top songs on Apple Music. If you are asking why “Na Gamsu” is trending, a strong album run and a relaxed, replayable mood are the most likely reasons.
