Gehra Hua By Arijit Singh & Shashwat Sachdev

Arijit Singh’s voice is once again the centerpiece of a trending soundtrack moment, this time on “Gehra Hua” from the blockbuster Dhurandhar. The track, composed by Shashwat Sachdev with additional vocals from Armaan Khan, has kept climbing streaming charts since its release and remains one of the most searched songs from the film months later.

Arijit Singh remains the most consistent voice in modern Bollywood, known for turning even understated melodies into emotional centerpieces. Shashwat Sachdev, the composer behind Dhurandhar’s score, has built a reputation for blending cinematic tension with melody, and pairing his production instincts with Arijit’s vocal restraint gives this track its distinct weight.

“Gehra Hua” unfolds slowly, built around a somber piano and string foundation before Arijit’s vocals take over with a controlled, aching delivery. The production leaves space around the voice rather than crowding it, letting small orchestral swells do the emotional heavy lifting. It is a ballad built for repeat listening rather than instant impact.

Its continued popularity traces directly back to Dhurandhar’s massive box office run and the emotional weight the song carries on screen, tied to Ranveer Singh’s arc in the film. Soundtrack songs from major theatrical hits tend to enjoy long streaming tails, and this one has proven no exception, staying in regular rotation well past the film’s opening weeks.

Arijit Singh’s control here is the standout element, restrained in the verses and devastating by the time the chorus fully opens up. Shashwat Sachdev’s arrangement never overreaches, letting the melody carry the song’s emotional core with real patience and craft.

“Gehra Hua” is an exciting track with captivating energy, impressive delivery, and a memorable sound. Make sure you listen to this impressive song and add it to your playlist today.
