Kolaboy – Nwa Nwanyi Deeper Life (NND) ALBUM
Nigerian indigenous rapper Kolaboy opens a new chapter with “Nwa Nwanyi Deeper Life (NND),” a 13-track debut album that brings together Igbo storytelling, personal experiences, street realities and reflections on faith. Released on October 2, 2026 through Odia Records Limited, the project runs for about 43 minutes and presents Kolaboy as an artist deeply connected to the culture and language of southeastern Nigeria.
The title “Nwa Nwanyi Deeper Life” comes from a personal part of Kolaboy’s upbringing. He has described growing up with a Deeper Life mother and pretending to take notes during church while secretly writing rap lines. That childhood memory becomes the foundation for the album, giving the project a concept that connects religious upbringing, youthful ambition and the realities of finding one’s own path.
Across the album, Kolaboy keeps his indigenous rap style at the center while allowing different collaborators to add new perspectives. The project features Evado, Paddy K, Rabbai, YungKeb, REF Music, MOEC, Jeriq, Aguero Banks, Hugo P, Morravey and Hynezz. Tracks such as “Believer,” “Don’t Judge Me,” “Bank,” “N’aka Mmadu,” “Letter To My Ex” and “Daalu” show how the rapper moves between personal reflection, ambition, relationships and everyday experiences.
The album also carries a strong southeastern Nigerian musical identity. Kolaboy’s Igbo lyricism gives the songs a local character, while the wider production draws from indigenous rap, Afro-Hip-Hop and elements associated with contemporary street music. Rather than separating cultural identity from modern Nigerian music, “Nwa Nwanyi Deeper Life (NND)” uses both sides together, making the project accessible to listeners who enjoy current sounds while keeping its storytelling firmly connected to home.
Several tracks further strengthen the album’s narrative. “Sober Reflections” featuring Rabbai brings a more reflective moment, while “Bank” with Jeriq and “N’aka Mmadu” with Aguero Banks and Hugo P add more rap-focused energy. “Oga Eme,” featuring Evado, also carries history from Kolaboy’s earlier catalog, while “Daalu” featuring Hynezz closes the project. The sequencing gives the album a broad cast without taking attention away from its central voice.
With “Nwa Nwanyi Deeper Life (NND),” Kolaboy delivers a debut album that is as much about identity and personal history as it is about music. Its 13 tracks create room for humor, ambition, faith, relationships and street experience while maintaining a strong Igbo perspective throughout. For listeners following the growth of indigenous Nigerian rap, the album stands as an important statement from Kolaboy and a clear representation of the musical culture that continues to shape his work.
