Honor Roll By Masicka x Kraff Gad

Masicka’s “Honor Roll,” featuring rising artist Kraff Gad, has been picking up steam since its release as part of his new album Forever Reign, drawing attention from dancehall fans looking for the genre’s sharpest new pairing.

Masicka has spent years building a reputation as one of dancehall’s most lyrically focused voices, known for storytelling that reflects inner-city life in Jamaica with unusual depth. On “Honor Roll,” he links up with Kraff Gad, one of the more recognizable younger names in the current wave, known for a raw, percussive delivery that travels fast through the dancehall circuit. The pairing puts two generations of sharp-tongued lyricism side by side.

The track sits on a tense, modern dancehall pulse rather than a loose party groove, giving both artists room to cut through with attitude and precision. Masicka’s grimy, lyric-first style plays well against Kraff Gad’s clipped, percussive cadence, and the production stays tight and focused throughout, built to spotlight the wordplay rather than bury it.

Its momentum comes largely from its placement on Forever Reign, Masicka’s newest full-length project, which has been generating buzz across the dancehall scene since its August release and pulling fresh listeners toward standout cuts like this one.

MusicPorta says: The interplay between Masicka’s seasoned lyricism and Kraff Gad’s raw energy is what makes this record click, both voices sound locked in and confident over a beat that never lets up its tension. It’s a sharp, well-constructed dancehall cut that rewards close listening to the wordplay as much as it does the rhythm.

“Honor Roll” is an exciting track with captivating energy, impressive delivery, and a memorable sound. Make sure you listen to this impressive song and add it to your playlist today.
