Ajebutter22 – More or Less

Ajebutter22 More or Less MP3 Download

Nigerian alternative rap veteran Ajebutter22 closes his Big Bad World EP with More or Less, released June nineteenth twenty twenty six. The track runs two minutes thirty six seconds and serves as the reflective finale. Known for conversational rap and witty observations, Ajebutter22 uses this record to balance introspection with subtle optimism about life.

Production leans mellow and thoughtful. Sombre piano samples and chopped vocal textures set a reflective palette before cool Timbaland inspired drums enter with metallic percussion, smooth kicks and crisp snares. The arrangement leaves space for lyrics to breathe, maintaining the calm easy going identity that defines the EP while adding maturity and emotional weight to the closing moment.

Lyrically, More or Less walks an emotional tightrope between reality and hope. Ajebutter22 weaves Yoruba proverbs into English verses, musing wisdom comes with age, one who behaves as though they know everything, common sense is no longer common. He extends the motif into a chant like refrain that sticks long after listening ends.

The central hook summarizes the mood perfectly, more inspiration less inflation, more celebration on vacation, less explanation more elation. It captures everyday Nigerian struggles with inflation, pressure and need for joy. Rather than complaining, Ajebutter22 favors perspective and quiet reflection, turning personal anecdotes and national observations into relatable lessons about choosing peace over unnecessary noise.

Big Bad World is a fully solo project with six tracks including Everybody Guide, Polanco Dreams, Big Bad World, Format and Lagos City Hustler. More or Less stands out as the most vulnerable entry. Critics highlighted its mature delivery and clever punchlines that prevent it from feeling superficial, proving Ajebutter22 still evolves even while managing his fintech venture Muva simultaneously.
